The show feels stuck between "too much explanation" and "not enough" on the Quicksilver question, which is an odd place to be. But there's no actual information about how Agatha brought him in from another universe - or, if he's just a human puppet she disguised as Pietro, how she gave him his signature super-speed. Agatha says that she had to use the Evan Peters version because the Aaron Taylor-Johnson Pietro is still a bullet-riddled corpse on a different continent and necromancy would be tough even for her. "Fietro," as Agatha calls him, was apparently her eyes and ears, which we saw explicitly in last week's mid-credits scene when he attacked Monica (no updates on that front, by the way). Agatha reveals some magical fundamentals (she's marked the room with runes, including one that looks suspiciously like an M, preventing others from casting magic in the vicinity) and some insight into the false Pietro situation. Honestly, part of me is kind of bummed that all of the artificial TV world will eventually go away because it's just so fun watching them inhabit it. (If you know me, you know I hate puns, but Vision's so-bad-it's-funny "gum up the works" quip made me chuckle.) There were a few times when I forgot this TV world was fake because of how locked in both performers were. Is there another shadowy evil organization lurking out there in the Marvel Universe?Ĭhancellor's Take: I completely agree with everything Christian mentioned above! The only thing I would add is how Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany are giving truly fantastic performances as Scarlet Witch and Vision. but Hydra was also destroyed, we thought (not for the first time). That must mean it's actually an evil force like Hydra. Those organizations seem to be trying to break through the illusion, possibly even sending in Monica in disguise. So it seems like whoever's helping or making Wanda build this sitcom reality, it's not the "good guy" organizations like SHIELD and the FBI. It follows the couple inside the town of Westview, New Jersey, as their idyllic suburban life begins to. Starting in the second episode, we start to hear the voice of FBI agent Jimmy Woo (Randall Park), last seen acting as Scott Lang's parole officer in Ant-Man and the Wasp, now asking: "Who's doing this to you, Wanda?" Plus, Teyonah Parris shows up in the second episode calling herself "Geraldine," even though we've seen Captain Marvel and we know that's Monica Rambeau. ) 'All-New Halloween Spooktacular' ' Breaking the Fourth Wall ' is the seventh episode of the American television miniseries WandaVision, based on Marvel Comics featuring the characters Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch and Vision.

The first episode ends with the credits rolling on the sitcom-style plot of Wanda and Vision hosting a dinner for his boss but then zooms out to show us that episode is being watched by some agent.
